I obviously stopped purchasing seed upgrades at that point. I started off at 124 ai/s and am currently at 64 ai/s after all upgrades. Every single seed upgrade I purchased caused my profit to drop. I spent diamonds so I could go to market but keep my crops, specifically so I could get more seeds for better upgrades. For instance, with one purchase, I was at 84 ai/s and purchased an 8kk seed upgrade and my profit dropped to 64 ai/s. In some cases, it is quite a substantial decrease.
I’d advise everyone to keep an eye on their profit per second when purchasing seed upgrades (when you’re coming towards the largest upgrades you can afford). I have been playing this game for a little while now, and whilst the style is cute and the concept is great as a time passer/stress alleviator etc, it is extremely frustrating that when you get to a certain stage, purchasing seed upgrades actually causes your profit per second to go down quite substantially.
